Welcome to the Goodhill Lab

We are interested in how brains process information, particularly during development. Our current focus is on the development of neural coding in the zebrafish brain. We are addressing this using a combination of behavioural analysis, calcium imaging of neural activity, and mathematical/computational modelling. Members of the lab come from diverse backgrounds including biology, mathematics, physics and engineering.

The lab is currently split between Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis USA and The University of Queensland in Brisbane Australia, as part of its transition to Washington University. New positions at Washington University available. If you are interested please contact Prof Goodhill.
